My Deviant Art Story

i haven't been for very long. but i have done a lot with my time here.

I started in August of 2008 by recommendation of . my very first deviant was made in Aug 30th of 2008. it was my attempt at drawing drawing 's character Kinko. i was inspired by her fan story of warriors (a book series by Erin Hunter) i eventually made a play off of the Warrior series by making my own story called the Clan. i wasn't exactly a good writer or an artist back then. the only thing i drew for the longest time was cats whose heads were literally a circle with a couple of triangles on them. i have grown in my art style since then. 5 years has been a good run for me. since the abrupt stop of The clan. i have created other stories (all of which will no longer be continued except Corpses and Claws). what can I say? i don't finish a ton of things, but when i do, i feel as though it looks great. during my 5 years here, i had created a second account specifically for art, no stories, no photography...just art. the account is named after my fursona Rainfeather. I wanted the account to be named after her but still have a connection with my only other user name in the world Ilovemy3cats. so i dubed the account Rainf3ather.

my art has evolved a ton since my start in 2008
i went from basic kindergarten level cats to doing dragons, birds, sonic characters, pokemon and complex transformers. i have even created my own species of animal for my AP art class in high school called Dracofelia. it is par cat and part dragon. now that i am attending AI ( Art Institute of [redacted]) [lol SCP joke] i will be posting more human and still life like art.

my mediums of art aren't just graphite, marker, colored pencil and digital. i have expanded to charcoal, chalk, oil pastels, acrylic, tempera, water color and, water color pencils.

since i don't know what else to put here...i will end this journal, even though my story hasn't really ended.
